About the role

Seeking a skilled DevOps / Kubernetes Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automating processes, managing Kubernetes infrastructure, and supporting cloud-based architectures, particularly within AWS environments. This role involves working with both Windows and Linux systems, developing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring secure and efficient deployment of microservices. Job Responsibilities

Automate manual processes and maintain new processes developed by the CAAT.

Develop Windows automation scripts using Python and/or Microsoft PowerShell.

Support deployment of microservices via DevSecOps pipelines in Windows and Linux multi-tenant environments.

Develop, update, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipeline code.

Configure, troubleshoot, and deploy Docker containers.

Review code within Git and create engineering documentation as needed.

Provide technical guidance for all capabilities and microservices.

Support developer deployments and testing in the environment.

Create and maintain DevOps documentation.

Conduct security remediation based on scan results. Required skills

Job Requirements

2-3 years of recent experience with Kubernetes infrastructure, preferably OpenShift or EKS.

2-3 years of experience with Docker containers.

Proficiency in Microsoft PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages.

Experience administrating both Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.

Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipeline development and management.

Familiarity with AWS services, including CloudFormation, S3, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, load balancing, and autoscaling.

Understanding of DevSecOps methodologies and workflow.

Active Top Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI post-hire.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
