Data Processing Clerks

for positions at the NIOSH Alice Hamilton Laboratory

at 5555 Ridge Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45213

Hours:

• 40 hours a week, M-F, Business hours 6:00am – 6:00pm, 8 hours between these hours.

• Telework is possible for some positions

Job Objective:

Provides data entry to support the Division of Field Studies and Engineering within NIOSH, data entry, clerical support, quality control, and records management

Education:

High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency. Medical terminology desired.

Experience:

• At least (2) years of data entry experience for Clerks I.

• (4) years data entry for Clerks II.

• (4) Data Processing Clerks-Quality Control.

• At least (5) years of data entry experience for Team Leads including supervisory experience.

. Qualifications (same basic qualifications for each position):

DPC-I & II and DPC Quality Control Clerks and DPC Team Leads

• Proficient in standard Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

• Able to assemble basic PowerPoint presentations and Word documents.

• Able to use Excel to create and edit lists and tables for basic tracking of tasks or items.

• Able to distill several pieces of information (e.g. resources about federal records management rules and procedures) into a summary document (Word or PowerPoint).
