Junior Electrical Design Engineer

New Opportunity – ITALY Role: Junior Electrical Design Engineer – Renewable Energy Location: Rome or Milan (Flexible working available) Salary: €35,000 DOE My client is a specialist renewable energy engineering consultancy, and they are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to support the delivery of utility-scale PV, agrivoltaic and BESS projects across Italy.

Working within the technical team, the role focuses on MV and HV electrical design through to detailed and executive-level engineering, supporting developers, asset owners and EPC contractors.

Responsibilities Electrical design of utility-scale PV and agrivoltaic plants Preparation of layouts, single-line diagrams and technical reports Engineering input across pre-feasibility, detailed and executive design stages Technical support to proposals, procurement and project delivery Interface with clients and project stakeholders as required Requirements Degree in Electrical, Energy or Mechanical Engineering 1–2 years’ experience in PV electrical design.

PVsyst and AutoCAD experience.

Strong understanding of electrical schematics Proficient in Excel and MS Office Fluent in Italian and strong English skills Package Permanent or P.IVA contract Flexible working Rome or Milan office base
