Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform a wide range of duties relating to the mechanical/hydraulic installation, repair and maintenance of machinery, equipment and fixtures to ensure their efficient operation at minimum downtime.

2. Tackles all mechanical equipment breakdowns and carry out corrective actions to reduce downtime and maximize functionality of equipment.

3. Technically assesses the requirement of allocated jobs and selects the necessary tools and equipment to complete the work.

4. Carry out preventive maintenance activities to defined schedules in order to facilitate uninterrupted operations.

5. Participate in the shutdown operations as per defined procedures and standards.

6. Perform other related duties assigned by the Immediate Superior.

7. Observe and follow Company Rules and Regulations.

Qualifications:

1. College or vocational degree related to the position.

2. Physically able to carry out job requirements.

3. Maximum if 2 years work experience

4. Ability to work in shifting schedules and possible holidays.

5. Has the ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints/drawings.
