You can review the additional job description section on postings for documents that may be required.* Prior to submitting your application, please review and update (if necessary) the information in your candidate profile as it will transfer to your application.## Job Title:Reporting and Analytics Analyst## Department:Health Sciences Government Resource CenterThe Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) invites applications for a Reporting and Analytics Analyst position.A successful applicant may engage in applied health services, quality improvement and/or population health research in a project-based team setting.This role is primarily focused on creating and maintaining advanced interactive data visualizations (dashboards) using R-Shiny within a team development context and requires a candidate with demonstrative R skills. Experience with R-Shiny is preferred. In addition, candidates will utilize a range of technical skills including cleaning, manipulation and analysis of large data sets. Beyond developing R-Shiny applications, responsibilities for the successful applicant are project-specific and may include combinations of the following: assists with data analysis and measure construction using administrative data such as Medicaid claims or population health survey data; composes reports, whitepapers, and presentation materials; presents results to team members and other audiences; reviews work products from subcontractors; conducts literature searches and literature reviews; assists with the development of protocols and the composition of institutional review board (IRB) applications; and designs data collection instruments including questionnaires and clinical data collection forms.Reporting and Analytics Analysts are expected to perform mainly technical skill tasks. They are expected to complete or assist on tasks with appropriate assistance and oversight. Reporting and Analytics Analysts may work on multiple projects at the same time.Actual project and task assignments depend on the skill set of the successful candidate.**Minimum Education Required:**Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent is required.**Required Qualifications:**A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree in a relevant field of study. Successful completion of a background check is required. *Selected candidate may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen Strongly Preferred Qualifications:**Demonstrable experience with the R statistical computing environment for data manipulation and analysis with consideration for team-based code development.Experience developing and maintaining interactive visualizations using R-Shiny.3-4 years of relevant experience.An advanced degree in a relevant field of study.Experience in applied health services or population health research.**Additional Preferred Qualifications:**Experience with statistical analysis.Experience with data manipulation in SAS or SQL.Experience in spatial analysis and mapping using ArcGIS Pro.Experience developing and maintaining interactive visualizations using Tableau.Experience working with external clients and other external stakeholders.## Additional Information:The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Centers mission is to identify, research, and spread innovative practices to improve access to quality healthcare for all Ohioans through partnerships with healthcare, state, and academic leaders.
