Autodesk Inventor/Solidworks - Detailer/Modeler

Duties will include:

Model parts and equipment for substations, transmission or renewable energy for prefabrication

Work with Utility VDC coordination team in creating 3D models of substations, transmission, and renewable energy projects.

Help prepare fabrication and install drawings for construction

Generate installation drawings for use by field and prefabrication personnel

Work towards becoming a VDC Utility Coordinator

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Experience using Autodesk Inventor or Solid Works or construction experience in High Voltage Substation/Transmission/Distribution, or Renewable Energy or other related field

1-2 Experience with Autodesk, Inventor, or Solid Works is a plus but not required

Ability to read and interpret design or construction documents preferred
