Staff Electrical Engineer

Are you a highly skilled electrical engineering professional ready to lead complex energy infrastructure projects? Join us as a Staff Electrical Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of power transmission and telecommunications. In this onsite position, you'll oversee a diverse portfolio of projects, guiding cross-functional teams from design to successful completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met with precision. Your expertise will directly impact critical projects spanning substation, transmission line, and telecommunication sectors, working closely with clients and senior management to deliver high-quality results.

Required Skills:

Proven experience managing multiple high-voltage electrical projects ($100k - $50M) across various stages from inception to closeout

Strong leadership skills to direct cross-disciplinary teams and facilitate project meetings

Exceptional project management abilities, including scope, schedule, and cost control

Ability to navigate client approval processes and present to senior/executive management

Knowledge of safety standards, regulations, and environmental considerations in energy projectsNice to Have Skills:

Experience with project management software and tools

Background in telecommunications within electrical infrastructure projects

Familiarity with utilities industry standards and best practicesPreferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred

8+ years of experience in electrical power systems, particularly in transmission and substation projects

Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PE license) are a plusOther Requirements:

Ability to travel 10-15% to project sites

Willingness to undergo background checks, including MVR verification

Estimated Min Rate: $45.00

Estimated Max Rate: $60.00
