Groundskeeping Intern

Mary Greeley Medical Center is seeking a motivated Groundskeeping Intern to support the care, appearance, and safety of our hospital campus and MGMCâ€'serviced outbuildings.

Under general supervision, this role performs a variety of groundskeeping and landscaping tasks, contributing directly to a welcoming and healing environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities * Assist with maintenance of MGMC landscaping, including rooftop and healing gardens.

* Trim and prune trees, bushes, flowers, and grasses.

* Weed, mulch, and refresh flower beds.

* Mow and trim grass as needed.

* Operate basic groundskeeping and landscaping equipment.

* Perform additional duties as assigned by Facilities Management leadership.

Qualifications Required * Valid driver's license with ability to remain eligible under MGMC's insurance policy.

* Ability to read, write, and understand English, including equipment manuals and regulatory documentation.

* Functional knowledge of basic building and groundskeeping equipment.

* Compliance with required stroke education per regulatory standards.

* Heavy work is exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.

Preferred * High school diploma or equivalent.
