Job Title: Senior Software Engineer
Job Location: Boston, MA - 3 days / week on-site
Salary: $170k-$200k + Bonus, Options package, 401k, benefits, etc.
Requirements: 7+ years in software development with a focus on Javascript - Typescript, Node, React
This is a full time / permanent position for a 100+ person SaaS company with over $200M+ in total funding and more than 30M in ARR
The real estate software is relied on by over 400,000 users for managing commercial properties. They develop products for both consumers and enterprises.
Due to consistent demand, they are continuing to scale and hiring for multiple Javascript (React / Node) engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Design systems and APIs that power software, creating dynamic applications
Provide technical leadership, defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast-paced, agile environment using the latest technologies and infrastructure.
Write high-quality code that delivers desired functionality with a focus on performance.
Develop, maintain, create testing strategies, and participate in design discussions for our APIs, primarily written in NodeJS and hosted on AWS.
Collaborate with product management to translate requirements and vision into prioritized user stories, delivering to timelines and quality standards.
Continuously learn new technologies! In addition to AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, NodeJS, etc., you will have the opportunity to grow full stack (learning React) or full cycle (mastering Kubernetes and Terraform) or both as part of a full stack team.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in software development
Proficiency in JavaScript - Node / Typescript / React
Familiarity with SaaS solutions and startup environments is preferred.
AWS
Docker / Kubernetes is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
