Specimen Processor - Shipping & Receiving

LabCorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Specimen Processing - Shipping and Receiving team in Dublin, OH.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00pm - 5:30am (rotating weekends). Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.

Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.

Job Responsibilities: * Receive all branch shipment and deliver to the correct area * Prepare outgoing specimen shipments in a timely manner * Accurately log specimen tracking data on a nightly basis * Drive to local airport to pick up shipments when needed * Unpack and route specimen to their respective staging areas * Accurately identify and label specimens * Pack and ship specimen to proper testing facilities * Process all necessary paperwork to process and submit specimen * Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner * Perform audits in order to resolve any outstanding issues Job Requirements: * High School Diploma or equivalent * Must have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record * Must be at least 21 years' old * Previous medical/lab or production experience is preferred * Comfortable handling biological specimens * Ability to accurately identify specimens * Experience working in a team environment * Strong data entry and organizational skills * High level of attention to detail * Proficient in MS Office * Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
