What You'll Do as a Public Safety Intelligence Analyst
• Generate & disseminate time-sensitive & emerging cyber
threat/trend information &/or intelligence to all homeland security partners (i.e., law enforcement agencies, public/private sector partners, etc.);
• Review & analyze information/data from public & private sources, field organizations &/or agencies;
• Monitor & evaluate the accuracy & reliability of information & sources;
• Advise & assist agencies with priority intelligence requirements, target & problem areas;
• Recognize trends of terrorist, emergency management or criminal operations;

Qualifications
OPTION 1
36 mos. exp. conducting research & writing reports using operational, mathematical, analytical &/or statistical research techniques.
OPTION 2
Or completion of undergraduate core program in homeland security, political science, criminal justice, emergency management, public health, international affairs or related field;
AND 12 mos. exp. conducting research & writing reports using operational, mathematical, analytical &/or statistical research techniques.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
