Maintenance Mechanic

The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources.

The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.

* Performs basic preventative maintenance orders.

* 2nd line of defense on machine breakdowns and machine recoveries.

* Maintain and report accurate data regarding PMs and machine breakdowns.

* Detect machine malfunctions through observation and troubleshooting.

* Basic machine optimization to include, but not limited to, improving rate efficiency, and reducing pre-process rejects.

* High School Diploma/GED * Previous experience as a machine attendant or similar role.

* General understanding of pneumatics, electronics, and mechanics.

* Familiarity using various power and hand tools.

* General computer skills including Microsoft outlook, Excel; strong written and verbal communication skills.
