Job 1 :SMT Operator : $25.00/hr on W2!
2nd shift - Mon-Thurs 3:30 PM EST-2:00 AM EST with OT available on the weekend
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled SMT Operator who is familiar with MyCronic or Universal Fuzion pick and place equipment and has a strong understanding of all facets of SMT production. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain MyCronic or Universal Fuzion pick and place equipment, including setup, and operation of equipment, including minor troubleshooting
Perform SMT production tasks, including component placement, soldering, and inspection
Ensure high-quality production by following established procedures and guidelines
Collaborate with production team to meet production targets and deadlines
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S principles
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and improve efficiency
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
2+ years of experience as an SMT Operator, with a focus on MyCronic or Universal Fuzion pick and place equipment
Strong understanding of SMT production processes, including component placement, soldering, and inspection
Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and guidelines
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or certification in a related field preferred
Job 2:Solder assembler: $29.00/hr
2nd shift : Mon-Thurs 3:30 PM-2:00 AM EST with OT available on the weekends
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Solder assembler to join our team, specializing in advanced rework on circuit card assemblies and knowledge of mechanical assembly related to circuit cards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in soldering and rework techniques, with the ability to work on complex electronics assemblies. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform advanced rework on circuit card assemblies, including but not limited to:
• BGA (Ball Grid Array) reballing and replacement
• QFN (Quad Flat No-Lead) and other leadless package rework
• High-density connector rework and repair
• Complex SMT (Surface Mount Technology) component replacement
• Through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT) components
• Fine pitch and high-density components
• Utilize various soldering techniques, including hand soldering and reflow soldering
• Uses microscope to verify correct part placement and orientation
• Inspect and troubleshoot assemblies to identify defects and areas for improvement
• Develop and implement rework procedures for new and existing products
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve design and manufacturing issues
• Perform mechanical assembly operations, including:
• Installing stand-offs, spacers, and other hardware
• Assembling and aligning complex mechanical components
• Using adhesives, epoxies, and other bonding agents
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and quality standards
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in soldering and rework, with a focus on advanced techniques
• Strong understanding of electronics assembly and repair principles
• Proficiency with soldering equipment, including but not limited to:
• Soldering irons and stations
• Reflow ovens and soldering machines
• Experience with inspection and testing equipment, such as microscopes and X-ray machines
• Excellent hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting production deadlines and quality standards
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• IPC (Institute for Printed Circuits) certification in soldering and rework (e.g., IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721)
• Experience with automated optical inspection (AOI) and x-ray inspection (AXI) systems
• Assemble and solder electronic components, including:
• Through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT) components
Job 3:Assembler: $26.00/hr on W2!
1st shift: Mon-Thurs 5:00 AM EST-3:30 PM EST with OT on the weekends
Job Description
• Uses microscope to verify correct part placement and orientation, manually align parts before soldering and perform post re-flow inspection and touch-up.
• Able to identify and touch up poor wetted solder joints, solder voids / insufficient solder, solder shorts/ bridges, misaligned parts / leads, tombstoned and or billboarded components and any other solder defects that may occur during the SMT operation.
• Familiar with using Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment to aid in identifying solder defects and understand what are false calls vs. real calls or issues
• Must be able to read instructions and identify standard SMT components.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where some overtime may be required.
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time and focus on tedious tasks
• Experience using rework equipment such as hot air pencils, hot plates, and BGA removal (ERSA or other OEM)
• Experience reviewing boards under X-ray to identify solder defects on bottom terminated components
• Experience running, soldering, and tacking down jumper wires on re-design boards is a plus
• IPC-610 Certification (expired or active is a MUST)
• IPC J-STD-001 Certification (expired or active is a MUST
Job 4: Cable Assembler: $22:00/hr on W2!
1st shift : Mon-Thurs 5 AM-3:30 PM
Job Description
• This is for a cable harness and soldering assembler.
• High mechanical aptitude is a must.
• Prior experience with IPC 610/620 requirements and cable assembly a plus.
• Using a hand tools to strip, crimp, and assemble copper and coax wire.
• Ability to follow a process, read and understand print instructions.
Job 5:
Touch up Operator - Printed Circuit Boards
2nd shift 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM
Job Description:
Mandatory requirements
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position (printed circuit boards) and have above average surface mount and fine pitch soldering skills.
• Must have experience working to IPC-610 requirements and IPC J-STD-001 requirements (IPC certified is desired)
• Ability to work under a microscope for long periods of time to perform inspection / solder repair.
• Must be able to read and interpret assembly drawings.
• Strong communication and organizational skills and ability to work in a team oriented environment.
• Uses microscope to verify correct part placement and orientation, manually align parts before soldering and perform post re-flow inspection and touch-up.
• Able to identify and touch up poor wetted solder joints, solder voids / insufficient solder, solder shorts/ bridges, misaligned parts / leads, tombstoned and or billboarded components and any out solder defects that may occur during the SMT operation.
• Must be able to read instructions and identify standard SMT components.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where some overtime may be required.
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time and focus on tedious tasks.
• Must have basic computer skills and have the ability to use several windows based programs as part of your daily routine.
