Controller

Our client is seeking a Controller to join their team full-time. You'll play a crucial role in managing financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $180,000 to $225,000 per year.

Job Descriptions:

Lead and oversee a team responsible for accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Payroll.

Manage the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements for distribution to internal stakeholders and external parties.

Provide insights based on financial data.

Oversee cost accounting analysis, including tracking costs, variances, and cost allocation.

Lead annual audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements within the department.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in accounting.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in public accounting and industry.

Supervisory experience.

Licensed CPA preferred.

Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley controls (a plus).
