Forklift Operator

AHI, a member of The Baillie Group is looking to add a Forklift Operator to the team in Waynesboro, VA.

This is a great opportunity for an individual to join a world class lumber organization as a first shift forklift operator.

The positions primary responsibilities include operating a forklift in a large open warehouse to locate/organize/move material as needed.

Forklift Operator Pay & Benefits: Full Time Hours Competitive Pay Full Plan of Benefits Forklift Operator Responsibilities: Operating forklift in a warehouse setting When not driving a forklift, employee may be asked to complete other work as needed Must be able to lift 50 lbs Identify the sort numbers for the carts you are responsible for.

Pull boards into the correct carts according to the sort numbers on the boards.

Previous experience as a warehouse worker preferred High School degree preferred, but not required.

Assist in all areas of production Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Ability to work independently Capable of working efficiently/safe as well as keeping a high level of precision Forklift Operator Qualifications Previous experience as an equipment operator using a forklift of 10,000 lbs.

and heavier required Prefer someone who has at least 1 year of experience within the last 2 years Must be self motivated and organized Willingness to work in outside environment Willingness to work overtime Locating/pulling/organizing loads of material needed for orders Ability to work independently
