Controller

Century Group is working with a client who is seeking a Controller. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this role will work closely with other departments and auditors to ensure accurate and timely internal and external financial reporting. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $150,000 to $200,000 per year.

Job Description:

Responsible for the monthly and year end close

Supervise, direct, and review the work of 4-5 direct reports

Oversee the recording, disposal, and depreciation of fixed asset

Oversee the filing/audits of payroll tax, sales tax, and property tax returns

Manage the coordination and execution of the annual inventory count/observation

Assist in the technical accounting research and implementation

Requirements:

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Able to communicate with professionals at all levels

Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field and experience within accounting in aerospace/manufacturing industry OR experience in public accounting
