Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Property Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $75,000 to $90,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
Audit and balance shared expenses such as maintenance, insurance, and property taxes for accuracy.
Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned retail properties to ensure efficiency and tenant satisfaction.
Oversee rent collection, monitor outstanding balances, and implement strategies to reduce delinquencies.
Develop and monitor property budgets, forecasts, and expense reports to maximize financial performance.
Coordinate maintenance and repair activities with vendors and contractors while maintaining service standards. Requirements:
Strong ability to perform financial analysis and create detailed reports using advanced Excel functions.
Skilled in preparing variance analyses and handling complex data sets for property performance reviews.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Effective communication skills for interacting with tenants, vendors, and internal teams.
Knowledge of lease terms, compliance requirements, and property-related tax and insurance processes. Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related discipline.
At least 5+ years of experience managing retail properties or similar real estate portfolios.
Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi and strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
Demonstrated problem-solving ability with a proactive approach to operational challenges.
Experience supporting leasing and marketing efforts, including conducting property tours and analyzing market trends.
