ALE Bus Aide

This position is 2 hours per day. One hour in the morning, one hour in the afternoon.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITEIS: Other duties may be assigned.

Assist students during transport to and from Carlisle ALE Program

Ensure students enter and leave bus orderly

Maintain seating chart

Assists with handling emergency situations until the bus driver can take over

Provide safe loading and unloading from buses during normal transport and emergency situations

Monitor students until released to teacher, instructional assistant, parent, etc.

Prepare seating chart of assigned riders, student misconduct, and incident reports to provide information needed to comply with guidelines

Report observations, incidents, and social behavior to appropriate personnel for their action

Attend meetings, in-service training, and/or workshops as directed

Provide other related duties as assigned to ensure an efficient and effective work place

Maintain confidentiality, unquestionable integrity

Daily attendance and punctuality are required for the purpose of ensuring the goals of the work unit can be met

Display professionalism in appearance, attitude, and actions
