Senior Program Manager

Tulane's Celia Scott Weatherhead School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, one of the nation's most respected public health institutions, seeks a dynamic Senior Program Manager to lead its graduate and professional programs in Health Policy and Management (HPM). This is a leadership role for an experienced academic manager who thrives at the intersection of operations and student success.

Reporting directly to the Department Chair, this individual manages a diverse portfolio of degree programs, including MPH, MHA (on-campus and online), PhD, international and executive programs, and joint and dual degrees.

This is a fully on-campus position in New Orleans, Louisiana.

* In-depth understanding of financial principles, including budgetary and fiscal management * Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure.

* Ability to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving * Strong communication (written and oral) and organizational skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed * Demonstrated ability to interact well with diverse groups of people * Proficiency with a variety of management software including database applications * Master's Degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Business, or related field, and two years of experience in a progressively responsible administrative or managerial position OR * Bachelor's Degree and five years of experience, or high school diploma and nine years experience * Three years of experience in academic programming
