POSITION SUMMARY
The Inventory Manager is responsible for maintaining accuracy, slotting, cycle count and physical inventory programs and ensuring all teams are following the appropriate processes across multiple ODW sites. They must possess an in-depth knowledge of operations and experience with high-transaction operations and inventory management. This position must demonstrate a strong level of customer service when communicating with clients.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support site quality management system
• Develop and implement purchasing and inventory control procedures and sequence of operations to optimize workflow
• Review market, price, delivery conditions and trends to determine material availability for customers
• Oversee disposal of surplus material or scrap products
• Monitor order claims and contracts to comply with company and customer policy and contracts
• Engage in weekly communication with customer
• Review weekly inventory trends and discuss variations with appropriate staff
• Collaborate with supplier when serious variations arise in delivery, quality, price or conditions
• Train new staff members and conduct performance appraisals of staff
• All other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in business or logistics or equivalent education/work experience preferred
• 3+ years of inventory management leadership experience in an order fulfillment (pick, pack, and ship) environment, with a 5,000+ SKU base preferred
• Previous experience with WMS (AS400) preferred
• Prior experience with web based B2C, B2B, and B2DC fulfillment and in-depth knowledge of parcel shipping requirements and programs preferred
• Knowledge of managing seasonal/promotional volume swings (operational and staffing perspective) preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools preferred
