Application Instructions

Position Description

Job Summary:

• Operate and maintain loaders

• Responsible for the efficient working conditions of the loaders

• This includes: performing routine maintenance including minor servicing, maintenance, and cleaning of the loader

• Responsible for alerting the supervisor of any significant problems

• Maintain hopper levels to achieve maximum production

• Maintain stockpiles and pit floor

• Load trucks

• Assist with maintenance around the asphalt plant

• Check fuel supplies at sites to ensure adequate availability

• Monitor operations to ensure that health and safety standards are met

• Keep records of material or equipment usage or problems encountered

• Must have the initiative, ability, and willingness to perform and assist with other job positions for job completion as requested

Position Requirements

Working Conditions:

Must travel from site to site.

Exposure to Dust

Loud Noises

Work in inclement weather conditions.

Physical Condition:

Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities such as: heavy lifting and climbing, operating motorized equipment and vehicles, work in confined spaces, work at heights, work around heavy construction equipment.
