JOB SUMMARY * Specialty Technicians perform a variety of patient care tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse to assist nursing personnel in the examination, treatment, and care of patients.
Additionally, Specialty Technicians perform clerical tasks as assigned and according to the assignment setting.
* * Specialty Technicians have a professional obligation to participate in committee activities, surveys, improvement initiatives, and continuing education.
JOB REQUIREMENTS * Minimum Education * High School or equivalent * Minimum Work Experience * No previous experience required.
* Required Licenses/Certifications * BCLS certification * Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities * Maintain professional appearance and decorum at all times.
* Input data into computer programs.
* Ability to work with therapeutic equipment.
