Job Description
About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our project management team on site work and civil construction projects throughout the Randolph, NJ area. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow their career in heavy civil construction.
As an APM, you will assist in coordinating field activities, managing project documentation, supporting schedules and budgets, communicating with subcontractors and vendors, and ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish.Key Responsibilities
Support the Project Manager in day-to-day project oversight and coordination.
Assist with creating, updating, and tracking project schedules.
Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documentation.
Track quantities, costs, and progress against budgets.
Coordinate with field supervisors, subcontractors, engineers, and suppliers.
Conduct job site visits and assist with daily tracking/logs.
Help ensure all work meets quality standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.
Contribute to project closeout: as-builts, punch lists, and documentation.
