Akkodis is seeking a Software Developer for a Contract with a client in Seattle, WA. The candidate will drive full-stack feature development across backend, Graphql, Python SDK, and UI to enhance the internal Machine Learning platform.
Rate Range: $87/hour to $89/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Software Developer job responsibilities include:
Design and maintain scalable data models and database schemas supporting SQL, vector, and unstructured data.
Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and storage optimization techniques.
Build and manage ETL pipelines and data workflows to support analytics, applications, and reporting.
Develop full-stack application components, including APIs and backend logic, using Java, Python, and SQL.
Ensure data security, compliance, and proper governance across all data platforms and pipelines.
Integrate and work with big-data and warehouse technologies such as Spark, Snowflake, Trino, and vector databases.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
6+ years in software development (data modelling, database design/optimization, full-stack) and 3+ years with big data/vector DB/data warehouse tech.
Advanced proficiency in SQL, Java, and Python, with hands-on experience in Spark, Snowflake, and Trino.
Proven ability to design scalable ETL/data pipelines, enforce data security & compliance, and deliver high-performance data-driven applications.
Pay Details: $87.00 to $89.00 per hour
