SUMMARY:

The Senior Salesforce Developer will own the design, development, and customization of our Salesforce platform across Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud. You will work closely with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable, high-quality solutions. In this role, you will help scale and modernize the Salesforce platform that underpins critical membership, billing, and customer experience workflows. Your work will directly influence how efficiently real estate professionals access data, serve their clients, and participate in a fair and transparent housing market. This role is hands-on and technical, with a strong emphasis on integrations (AWS, Zuora, Jira, AppExchange packages), performance, and best practices in a highly customized org.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Design, build, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions in Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud.

Develop Apex classes and triggers, Lightning Web Components, Aura components, Visualforce pages, Flows, and complex configuration (validation rules, formulas, sharing rules).

Integrate Salesforce with internal and external systems using REST, SOAP, Bulk, and Streaming APIs.

Optimize and "bulkify" code, batch jobs, and integrations to handle large data volumes and high performance needs.

Collaborate with product owners, architects, admins, and business stakeholders to refine requirements and propose technical solutions.

Participate fully in Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives).

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, acting as a senior technical point of contact for the Salesforce platform.

Contribute to platform modernization, code quality, and DevOps practices, including version control and CI/CD.

REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years of Salesforce development experience in highly customized orgs.

Apex (triggers, classes)

Lightning Web Components and/or Aura

Visualforce

SOQL/SOSL, Flows, validation rules, and security/sharing configuration

Experience designing data models, profiles/permission sets, and role-based security.

Experience with integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, including working with large data sets and asynchronous/batch processing.

Solid understanding of Agile development and the full SDLC (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, support).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Clear, concise communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Marketing Cloud, Jira, Confluence, Git-based version control

Salesforce DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset)

Integrations or managed packages such as Zuora, RingCentral, NICE InContact CXone, Talend, Domo, Contentful

Background with Java-centric web application development or other languages/frameworks (e.g., JavaScript, .NET, SQL, C++).

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in computer science.

Salesforce certifications such as:

Platform Developer II

Advanced Administrator

Platform App Builder

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000, based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is also eligible for annual performance-based bonuses.
