What you’ll do:
Lead the administration, configuration, implementation, and continuous optimization of the SAP Business One ecosystem to support manufacturing operations.
Manage and optimize SAP Business One manufacturing modules, including Production Planning, MRP, Inventory Management, and Supply Chain processes.
Oversee API integrations and connected systems (e.g., Vision33 API Manager, Saltbox, Power BI, Power Automate, Excel) to ensure reliable data flow and automation.
Design and maintain testing and non-production environments, enforcing quality controls prior to production deployment.
Partner with IT leadership on SAP Business One server architecture, database performance, and infrastructure planning.
Develop SQL-based queries, reports, and data models to enhance operational insight and decision-making.
Translate complex manufacturing and finance business requirements into detailed SAP Business One technical specifications.
Provide technical leadership by guiding internal resources and external SAP Business One development partners using best-practice standards.
Drive manufacturing digitization initiatives, including machine connectivity and shop-floor integration with SAP Business One.
Diagnose system issues, document solutions, and ensure user training and enablement to promote adoption and self-sufficiency within SAP Business One.
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting Information Systems, or a related field, with a strong foundation in SAP Business One development.
4–6 years of SAP Business One experience within a mid-sized manufacturing environment, including at least one full end-to-end SAP Business One implementation.
Proven experience managing or leading IT, ERP, or systems teams, with the ability to balance hands-on execution and strategic oversight.
Strong functional exposure to manufacturing operations such as production, purchasing, inventory, logistics, or shipping within an ERP environment.
Advanced technical proficiency in SQL, API integration, and data formats (JSON/XML), with hands-on experience managing API connectors and platforms.
Experience with additional ERP systems, finance technology, automation, data management, and emerging technologies such as AI-enabled business tools.
Demonstrated strengths in decision-making, problem-solving, prioritization, and documentation, with the ability to operate in detail while maintaining a big-picture view.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, high curiosity and learning agility; fluency in English required, with Japanese language skills preferred
