LHH is seeking an eager and detail-focused Accountant to join our client's team located in the heart of downtown Columbus. This role is a great match for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build experience in a hands-on accounting environment. The selected candidate will support core financial functions, help maintain accurate records, and contribute to ongoing department initiatives. Responsibilities
Support the creation of financial statements and internal reporting
Enter, verify, and organize financial data to maintain accurate records
Reconcile bank activity and review general ledger accounts
Assist with monthly and annual closing tasks
Participate in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting processes
Track material costs and investigate variances
Maintain accurate pricing information within the accounting systemRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Internship experience or one year of professional experience in accounting or finance
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational ability
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables and vlookups)
Solid communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Ability to manage tasks independently while contributing to team objectivesPay Details: $53,000.00 to $63,000.00 per year
