BWC's core hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, however, daily start/end times may vary based on operational need across BWC departments.

Most positions perform work on-site at one of BWC's seven offices across the state.

BWC offers flex-time work schedules that allow an employee to start the day as early as 7:00am or as late as 8:30am.

Flex-time schedules are based on operational need and require supervisor approval.

What You'll Be Doing: * Formulate and implement Medical & Health Symposium policies and support the strategic expansion of the annual event.

* Develop and assist with event planning, including onsite execution, and post event wrap-up.

* Maintain website platform, using WYSIWIG tools, ensuring continuing education and legal requirements are met.

* Develop and coordinate marketing strategies for program expansion, ensuring enhanced content delivery, and research based.

* Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above Job Skills: Program Management Major Worker Characteristics: Knowledge of: BWC policies & procedures*; (e.g., Medical & Health Symposium policies exhibitor guidelines, vendor qualifications) & standard operating procedures*; event planning and production, contract negotiation, exhibit & tradeshow coordination, sponsorship fulfillment, and project management; budgeting, organizational principles & techniques, digital/social media marketing, public relations, written communication strategies.

Skills in: Event and/or conference design*; meeting management, budget and financial reporting*, contract administration*, event management software* and Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to: define and solve problems, collect data, establish facts & draw valid conclusions; adapt to crisis situations, changing procedures, methods or processes; ability to prioritize and execute tasks conforming to shifting priorities, demands and timelines; independently manage multiple project demands or tasks, provide exceptional customer service, communicate effectively - verbally, in writing & in team settings; ability to work with vendors and customers in a responsible, appropriate and service-oriented manner; show strong attention to detail, copy material accurately & recognize grammatical & spelling errors; maintain accurate reports; understand manuals & verbal instructions; prepare meaningful, concise & accurate records; establish friendly team atmosphere; develop & maintain rapport with internal & external customers.
