Head Hostess – Upscale Restaurant

SWOT Hospitality is seeking a polished and experienced Head Hostess to lead our front-of-house reception team in an upscale dining environment. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who excels in guest relations, team leadership, and maintaining the highest standards of service and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, train, and supervise the hostess team to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Serve as the primary point of contact for guest arrivals, reservations, and seating flow.

Manage reservations and table assignments using an electronic reservation system.

Maintain accurate wait times and ensure smooth guest flow during service.

Handle VIP guests, special requests, and guest feedback with professionalism and discretion.

Coordinate closely with management, servers, and kitchen teams.

Ensure the host stand and entrance area reflect the restaurant’s upscale standards.

Assist with staff scheduling, onboarding, and performance support.

Uphold brand standards, service etiquette, and appearance guidelines.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Head Hostess or Senior Hostess in an upscale or fine-dining restaurant.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Polished appearance and professional demeanor.

Ability to remain calm and composed in a high-pressure environment.

Experience with reservation platforms such as OpenTable or Resy preferred.

Strong guest service and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
