As one of the newest Chenega companies, Chenega Defense & Aerospace Solutions (CDAS) was developed with the purpose of providing expert Engineering and Technical Support Services to federal customers.

The Computer Operator IV will provide support to the IT Help Desk while maintaining a close and highly responsive relationship with the day-to-day activities of the Supervisor and Staff, while receiving supervision and guidance. The Computer Operator IV will perform various clerical duties requiring knowledge of office routine and an understanding of the organization, programs, and procedures related to the IT Help Desk.

Responsibilities

Monitor and operate the enterprise in accordance with operating instructions

Study operating instructions to determine the equipment setup needed

Load and configure equipment with required items

Assist customers with Tier 1 assistance calls

Enter and maintain job tickets into the ticketing system

Diagnose and correct equipment malfunctions

Review error messages and make corrections during operation, or refer problems

Maintain operating record

Performs daily activities that include administrative duties

Perform project and job tracking and review

Perform other related duties as assigned

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED required.

2+ years' experience in an IT desktop support role

Must be able to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level I within 6 months of hire

Experience working in a multi-platform environment with Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022

Background check with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance (Secret Clearance Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Sufficient understanding of TCP/IP networking protocol to do preliminary network troubleshooting

Competence in Microsoft Office skills

Intermediate level user of Microsoft Excel

Ability to write clearly and edit work for spelling and grammar
