Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Support elementary students as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) within a collaborative special education cooperative serving multiple communities near Emporia, KS. This contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year and offers full-time or part-time hours with flexible scheduling. The role is an excellent fit for professionals holding an SLP-CCC certification and a valid Kansas SLP license who are passionate about providing targeted speech and language support in a school setting.

Location & Community:

Positions available at various schools within a one-hour radius from the main campus in Emporia, KS, including Emporia SD, North Lyon County, South Lyon County, Chase County, Madison, Hamilton, and Morris County.

Onsite work at elementary schools serving diverse student populations.

Typical caseload ranges from 10-12 students per day, increasing to approximately 50-55 students over a five-day period.

Key Responsibilities:

Assessing, planning, and delivering effective speech and language intervention for elementary students.

Collaborating with teachers, families, and special education teams to support student progress.

Maintaining detailed records and progress reports in compliance with cooperative guidelines.

Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities within the cooperative.

Desired Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC).

Valid Kansas Speech-Language Pathologist license.

Previous experience in school-based speech therapy preferred.

Flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours with onsite presence.
