FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt
COMPENSATION: New hire pay rate $18.70 per hour USD

OUR STORY
THE CHICAGO CUBS FRANCHISE is a charter member of Major League Baseball’s National League. Since 1876, the team has won the National League pennant 17 times and was the first team to win back-to-back World Series titles in the 1907 and 1908 seasons. In 2016, the Chicago Cubs made history again when the team won its first World Series in 108 years, ending the longest championship drought in North American sports. Known for its ivy-covered outfield walls, hand-operated scoreboard and famous Marquee sign, iconic Wrigley Field has been the home of the Chicago Cubs since 1914, making it the second oldest ballpark in Major League Baseball.
HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:
The Facilities Logistics Lead role plays an integral part in bringing receiving of inbound deliveries, movement of goods to storage locations, coordination of inventory levels and delivery of goods to final end users.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Work with a team to unload and load then store/deliver goods to correct location.
Delegating workplace responsibilities while maintaining a proficient loading dock/warehouse.
Communicating and enforcing the importance of policies and procedures.
Responsible for mail being recorded, sorted, and delivered in a correct and efficient manner.
Make sure the staff is aware of upcoming events and scheduled deliveries in Asset Essentials.
Orchestrate and look over projects like packing the team truck, set up or break down of Gallagher Way events, work orders, tickets, promotional allotments and distribution, and mail runs, etc.
Responsible for the knowledge and executing reports for inbound deliveries, import incoming mail, location of inventory, and the ability to run and explain WASP.
Accountable for the cleanliness and maintenance in our spaces as well as equipment.
Be an example of extraordinary customer support to internal and external operations.
Be trained as a mailroom attendant.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
Able to perform the following physical tasks: bend, squat, kneel, twist, climb flights of stairs, walk on uneven ground, walk/run up and down ramps, walk and stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to assist and give appropriate directions.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis and lift up to 50lbs on an occasional basis.
Demonstrated ability to address and resolve conflict including but not limited to verbal and physical tactics.
Demonstrated ability to disseminate and communicate unique personal interactions.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to lead numerous projects in an efficient manner.
Must have the ability to effectively adapt to work environment that is in constant change due to weather.
Be forklift certified
Must be able to work nontraditional hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
