Senior Design Manager – Data Centres (Netherlands) Location: Hoofddorp, Netherlands (office-based) Project: Major data centre development, Lelystad (frequent travel) Salary: €105,000 – €120,000 Package: 12% car allowance or company car with fuel card Role overview Morson is supporting a Tier 1 European contractor delivering large-scale, mission-critical data centre projects across the Netherlands to appoint a Senior Design Manager.

This is a senior technical leadership role within a contractor-led Design & Build environment, with full responsibility for CSA and MEP design delivery from tender through construction and commissioning.

The successful candidate will act as the technical authority, with design decisions not progressing without their approval.

Key responsibilities Lead end-to-end CSA and MEP design on a large-scale data centre project within a Design & Build environment Manage Employer’s Requirements, performance specifications and novated consultants Coordinate architectural, structural, MEP and specialist design packages Drive BIM-led coordination, clash resolution and information control Align design delivery with programme, procurement and construction sequencing Implement design freezes, manage change control and mitigate technical risk Embed commissioning, testing and operational requirements into design Act as the senior technical interface with client engineering teams and stakeholders Candidate profile 12+ years’ experience delivering complex, MEP-intensive projects Proven experience as a Design Manager on data centre or mission-critical projects Strong background in Design & Build contractor environments Deep understanding of CSA / MEP systems integration Confident leading consultants, designers and specialist contractors Qualifications Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services or Structural Engineering Strong working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD Understanding of power, cooling, resilience, fire, structure and commissioning Project management or BIM certifications advantageous Package €105,000 – €120,000 base salary 12% car allowance or company car with fuel card Apply This is a confidential role being managed by Morson.
