The Role We are seeking a Executive Assistant/Communications Manager to manage and execute on all Club member, employee, and event communications.
This role will also support the Club’s General Manager providing assistant duties as necessary.
The Executive Assistant/Communications Manager works directly with Club members, the Board, and Club department heads to curate and craft external and internal facing communications for events, tournaments, employee appreciation and board meetings – they will also maintain and redesign collateral ranging from booklets to calendars used by the Club year.
A successful Executive Assistant/Communications Manager is an expert on the written word, has an eye for creative design, and is flawless in their attention to detail.

Position Summary The Executive Assistant/Communications Manager & Assistant to the General Manager is a dual-role position responsible for managing all club communications while providing administrative and operational support to the General Manager.
This role ensures clear, consistent messaging to members and staff, supports executive-level priorities, and helps facilitate efficient day-to-day operations of the club.
Key Responsibilities CommunicationsDevelop, manage, and execute internal and external communication strategiesCreate and distribute member communications, including newsletters, emails, announcements, and digital updatesManage the club’s website and social media platforms to ensure timely and engaging contentCreate and edit promotional materials for events, programs, and club initiativesEnsure consistency in brand voice, messaging, and visual standards across all channelsCollaborate with department heads to gather content and communicate updates effectivelyWorks closely with members and division chairs on the creation and execution of specialty communications Administrative SupportProvide administrative support to the General Manager, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and correspondencePrepare reports, presentations, agendas, and meeting minutes as neededServe as a liaison between the General Manager, staff, members, and external contactsAssist with special projects, strategic initiatives, and follow-up actionsHandle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalismAssist with Committee and Board Meeting Minutes Key Skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work cross-functionally with food and beverage, events, golf operations, administration, finance, members, and other leadership teamsExceptional writing and editing skills across formats: memos, executive communications, internal announcementsStrong presentation and storytelling abilitiesExcellent organizational and time-management abilities Desired Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, business administration, or related field is preferred5-7 years of experience in communications, executive support, or a related role is required, with previous experience working a private Club setting preferredProficiency with communication platforms (Canva, E-mail Automations, Microsoft Office, and social media management tools)Understanding of brand management, business communications, and media design is preferredHigh level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
