MACHINE OPERATOR DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
Location: Columbus NE â 100% On-site
Payrate: $20/hr
Required Availability: Full-Time Rotating days, 6 AM â 6 PM
MACHINE OPERATOR SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Machine Operator will perform routine production functions including filling, utility operations, packing, and inspecting products. You will work under general supervision in a team-oriented environment, ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with strict quality and safety standards.
This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
MACHINE OPERATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production Operations: Perform assembly, labeling, packaging, and filling tasks.
Quality Compliance: Maintain accurate records and logs in compliance with FDA, GMP, and ISO9000
Technical Skill: Develop and apply skills in basic tasks and procedures within a specific process area.
Team Collaboration: Support team goals and maintain effective communication with co-workers and supervisors.
Operational Decision Making: Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and make routine decisions relative to position requirements.
MACHINE OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
Previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read, write, and comprehend technical specifications in English.
Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
Availability: Must be able to work flexible/extended hours and maintain a punctual, regular attendance record.
