CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join their team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting machining operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Location: Carlos, MN

Pay Range: $21+/hour

Shift: Night: Monday-Thursday, 4:30 pm - 3:00 am

What's the Job?

Operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) horizontal lathes, mills, or turning centers to perform machining operations such as turning, boring, facing, and threading parts

Read and interpret process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine operating requirements

Set up workpieces securely and start machining cycles, ensuring precision and quality

Perform in-process inspections and verify dimensional adjustments using gauges and measurement tools

Maintain machine coolant levels and monitor machine performance during operation

What's Needed?

Prior CNC machining experience is required; this is not an entry-level position

Ability to read blueprints, process sheets, and technical instructions

Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Strong attention to detail and quality standards

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
