Business & Planning Analyst

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Responsible for facilitating integrated planning across both mining and processing operations, analysing operation performance, and responsible for developing reports for external reporting and company meetings. Involved in developing and tracking company strategy and business plan.

Key Performance Areas:

Organize and facilitate regular planning sessions between mining and processing departments to ensure alignment of production objectives and schedules.

Create comprehensive operational plans that integrate mining and processing schedules.

Track the implementation of operational plans, identify deviations, and collaborate with relevant teams to make necessary adjustments.

Prepare detailed reports on operational performance, including production metrics, resource utilization, and project progress.

Analyse operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, and present findings in a clear and concise manner.

Participate in the formulation of company strategies and project plans by providing insights and action recommendations based on operational data and industry trends.

Define clear performance targets, including business, operation, or research projects and key performance indicators (KPI’s) for the end-user-departments in line with the company’s strategic goals.

Establish and maintain clear communication channels between all departments, including mining, processing, engineering, and other support departments, to ensure effective coordination and alignment.

Implement the company risk management process, contribute to the management and improvement of the process.
