We are looking for a Payroll Supervisor to lead and ensure the accurate, compliant, and timely execution of payroll processes in Mexico. This role is critical to guaranteeing regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and a high-quality employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Execute and supervise weekly and monthly payroll calculations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Validate attendance, overtime, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and other variable payroll concepts.
Review, approve, and execute final payroll, including severance payments and settlements.
Calculate and process PTU, 13th month salary, savings fund, and annual tax calculations.
Ensure full compliance with Mexican labor, tax, and payroll regulations (LFT, IMSS, INFONAVIT, ISR, CFDI).
Manage payroll calculations and reporting for IMSS, SUA, IDSE, INFONAVIT, Fonacot, and ISN, including CFDI stamping.
Stay current on labor, tax, and social security legislative changes and assess their payroll impact.
Coordinate and support internal and external payroll audits.
Lead, train, and develop the payroll analyst team, guiding complex payroll cases.
Prepare payroll reports, respond to employee inquiries, ensure service levels, and analyze payroll trends to drive operational improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Administration, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in payroll processes.
2–3 years in supervisory or leadership roles.
Fluent English.
Mexican Labor Law (LFT).
Payroll taxes and contributions: IMSS, SUA, IDSE, INFONAVIT, Fonacot, ISN.
CFDI payroll stamping.
Payroll systems: Tress or similar.
Workday knowledge (desirable).
