Job Description
We are currently hiring for Production Operators in the Berryville,VA area! You’ll operate and maintain casemaking equipment to produce high-quality hardcover book cases while ensuring safety, accuracy, and productivity.
Openings on multiple shifts (2-2-3 days, 2-2-3 nights, 2nd shift and 3rd shift)
Key Responsibilities:
Ability to read a ruler and take precise measurements is required! Ruler Test will be conducted during interview!
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot the Sheridan Casemaker to meet work order and quality specifications
Prepare and assemble materials, monitor glue levels, and feed raw materials efficiently
Perform quality checks to ensure correct case size, alignment, and appearance
Accurately read rulers and measurement tools; perform basic math (fractions/decimals) for setup and verification
Record production counts, complete logbooks and skid tickets, and communicate material needs with forklift operators
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; perform routine cleaning and lubrication
Follow ISO, JWI, SOP, and safety standards at all times
Perform preventative maintenance and support continuous improvement efforts

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.75/hr.
