Location: Buffalo Grove, IL

Pay Rate: $65,000–$115,000/year

Schedule: Full-time On-site

Central Texas Recruiting is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to support financial planning operations for a growing financial services firm.

This role focuses on preparing financial plans, investment analyses, and client reports while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and alignment with the firm’s strategy. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with numbers, spreadsheets, and tax/financial planning tools in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing financial plan recommendations under the guidance of the Lead Advisor

Prepare retirement income strategies and investment portfolio analyses

Support onboarding of new clients and ensure smooth transitions

Assist in running tax and annuity illustrations using planning software and online tools

Help prepare various financial planning reports and one-off analyses

Collaborate with team members and advisors on client cases

Maintain accuracy and organization in all planning tasks

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

1–3 years of experience in financial services or planning

Strong Microsoft Excel skills and attention to detail

Experience in retirement planning, investments, or financial analysis

CFP or CPA designations are a plus but not required

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in-office
