#Hiring: Mobile Technical Lead

Location: McLean, VA

Pay Rate: $75/hr

Schedule: Full-time On-site Contract

Central Texas Recruiting is seeking an experienced Mobile Technical Lead to architect, design, and deliver enterprise-grade mobile applications. This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership across hybrid and native mobile stacks. The ideal candidate will guide mobile development squads, define standards, ensure high performance and security, and collaborate closely with product, UX, backend, and platform teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end mobile application architecture using Ionic, Capacitor, and Swift

Define coding standards, best practices, and technical guidelines

Perform hands-on development and code reviews for AngularJS mobile applications

Design and implement native plugins to access device features (camera, biometrics, storage, push notifications)

Integrate mobile apps with backend services, APIs, and third-party SDKs

Ensure compliance with App Store guidelines, security standards, and accessibility requirements

Mentor and guide mobile developers across hybrid and native stacks

Collaborate with UX, Product, Backend, DevOps, and Security teams

Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management

Implement mobile security best practices, monitor performance, and resolve production issues

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

10+ years of experience in mobile application development and leadership

Hands-on expertise with Ionic, Capacitor, AngularJS, Angular, and Swift

Experience with Android native development (Kotlin/Java) is a plus

Familiarity with CICD pipelines for mobile apps (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)

Strong understanding of mobile security standards (OWASP Mobile Top 10)

Experience with enterprise authentication (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, biometrics) preferred
