Copyeditor / Technical Editor Editorial Department

Desher Publishing Services Private Limited is hiring UG graduates to join our Editorial Department as Copyeditors / Technical Editors. This role begins as a 6-month contractual engagement, with the opportunity to be onboarded as a full-time employee upon successful completion of the contract period and performance evaluation.

Eligibility Criteria (Strictly Followed)

• UG Graduates only

• 2025 Batch – Fresher (6-month contract full-time)

• 2026 Batch – Intern (6-month contract full-time, subject to eligibility)

• Educational Background:

• BA / BSc English

• BSc Science disciplines (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, etc.)

• Computer Science graduates are not eligible

• PG graduates (any discipline) are not eligible

• Engineering graduates are not eligible

Key Responsibilities

• Copyedit and proofread academic manuscripts as per publisher-specific style guides

• Ensure language clarity, consistency, grammar, and technical accuracy

• Apply editorial standards for journals and books (STM / academic content)

• Coordinate with internal editorial and production teams

• Adhere strictly to quality benchmarks and turnaround times

Required Skills

• Strong written English and comprehension skills

• High attention to detail and editorial accuracy

• Ability to understand scientific and academic content

• Willingness to learn publisher workflows and style guides

• Discipline to work under quality and deadline-driven environments
