Full-Time $120,000–$160,000 + Equity New Market Entry & Multi-Unit Leadership
Description
A rapidly growing specialty coffee & stylish neighborhood café brand is entering the Los Angeles market and seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead new store openings, build high-performing teams, and oversee multi-unit operations as the brand scales. This is a rare opportunity to launch an entire market from the ground up and shape the operational foundation for long-term success.
What You’ll Do
Lead the full Los Angeles market launch, including new store openings, operational setup, and on-the-ground execution
Work with ownership to establish standards and operational excellence
Oversee multi-unit performance as the market scales to multiple stores in year one and beyond
Hire, mentor, and develop managers and hourly teams
Implement operational systems, playbooks, and workflows that ensure consistency across locations
Manage day-to-day operations, scheduling, training, inventory, quality control, and guest experience
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure smooth execution and a strong, cohesive culture
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of multi-unit operations leadership in hospitality, fast-casual, specialty retail, or coffee
Strong experience opening new stores and launching new markets
Proven success managing teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments
Exceptional communication, organization, and leadership skills
Passion for hospitality, team building, and delivering consistent customer experiences
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $120,000–$160,000 DOE
Equity: Eligible after 12 months of employment
