Executive / Sr. Executive – Upstream Process (Biologics)

Key Responsibilities

Execute upstream manufacturing activities including mammalian cell culture, expansion, and bioreactor operations.

Prepare media, buffers, and process materials as per approved batch records.

Operate and monitor bioreactors while tracking critical process parameters to ensure batch success.

Maintain accurate real-time documentation in compliance with GMP and GDP practices.

Support technology transfer, process scale-up, and batch execution activities.

Assist in deviation investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA implementation.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Downstream, QA, QC, and Validation teams.

Strictly adhere to aseptic practices, cleanroom protocols, and contamination control strategies.

Ideal Candidate Profile

0–5 years of upstream experience in biologics environments.

Strong hands-on expertise in:

️ Mammalian cell culture

️ Bioreactor handling and monitoring

️ Aseptic techniques

️ Media and buffer preparation

Working knowledge of GMP workflows and documentation practices.

Detail-oriented with strong process discipline.

Comfortable operating in cleanroom environments.
