General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of management experience in full-service casual dining (3–5 preferred)
Strong bar operations background preferred
Demonstrated ability to run a team with minimal oversight, act proactively, and drive results
Guest-focused, dependable, and highly organized leader with a positive attitude
Stable employment history (no more than 2 jobs in the past 5 years)
Kitchen knowledge and hands-on management experience a plus
General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Oversee a high-volume operation with a team-oriented, guest-first philosophy
Work a consistent 55-hour week (five 11-hour shifts with two days off)
Balance maintaining a family-style culture with holding staff to high standards
Direct daily operations focused on guest satisfaction and staff development
Lead by example, mentoring and developing team members, especially those new to the industry
Uphold appearance standards in a relaxed but professional environment (visible tattoos and piercings acceptable, except face tattoos)
