Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator for our client in Reno, NV. You will perform a variety of operational functions including operating a variety of machine shop equipment such as saws, lathes, drill presses, sand blaster, and a free-standing spot-welder to produce sub-assemblies or completed finished goods. Responsibilities

Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers and use simple math to perform basic calculations.

Must be able to read tape measures, calipers and micrometers to perform inspection of parts.

Must be able to operate a variety of machines to perform the following tasks turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring, sawing, spot welding and sandblasting.

Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.

Update computer records and paperwork in accordance with production requirements.

Maintains work area and equipment in clean orderly condition, performs preventative maintenance and follows prescribed safety procedures.

Requirements

Ability to perform essential duties

Six (6) months of related factory experience

High School Diploma/GED or graduation from certified technical school.

Must accurately read tape measure (assessment given).

Strong work ethic, good attendance, and ability to follow instructions.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work occasional overtime.

Steel-toed boots required.

Must pass background & drug screening.

Schedule & Pay

Shift: 1st Shift – Monday–Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00
