Finance Compliance Lead EMEA

What will your responsibilities be?

1. SOX Compliance & Internal Controls

Execute SOX testing activities including interim, roll forward, and year end testing.

Monitor and follow up on SOX remediation actions in Workiva (gaps from SOX testing, Internal Audit, and BSR).

Support PwC during SOX and controls-related reviews (documentation, data, follow-up).

Maintain and review Annual Frequency & Classification Account Reconciliation documentation.

Support SOD review on an annual basis (Mar–Apr).

2. Financial Integrity & Balance Sheet Management

Lead monthly Balance Sheet Review activities in coordination with plants and engineering.

Review intercompany profit elimination accruals.

Consolidate inventory variance accruals.

Conduct Fixed Asset reviews, including Construction in Progress (CIP) aging and FA inventory tracker updates.

3. MOSES & Workiva Process Management

Perform MOSES related account reconciliation approvals, access reviews, and lease process updates.

Manage MOSES ledger tasks: open ledger approvals, ensuring closed ledgers are blocked in SAP, and removing closed ledgers from MOSES Lease scope.

Maintain accuracy of data and documentation in Workiva.

4. Internal Audit & Compliance Support

Support Internal Audit during plant and engineering audits.

Provide documentation, clarifications, and follow-up actions.

Support legal compliance investigations in cooperation with relevant stakeholders.

5. Corporate Reporting & Communication

Prepare, communicate, and follow up on the Management Representation Letter (MRL).

Prepare materials and participate in Steering Committee and GBS / IA & Compliance regular calls.

Keep mailing lists and trackers (controllers, FA, PI, etc.) up to date.

6. Periodic & Ad Hoc Tasks

Follow up monthly on EMEA non-metal warranty accruals.

Attend Engineering quarterly reviews.

Respond to ad hoc questions requiring SOX, BOS, MOSES, and internal organization knowledge.

Provide training on processes and compliance topics.

Implement changes and process improvements across SOX, BOS, and internal control processes.

Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?

Technical Knowledge

Strong SOX knowledge and hands-on experience with SOX testing.

Internal Adient finance and organizational knowledge (must be able to navigate stakeholders, systems, and legacy processes).

Experience with MOSES (user or super user level preferred).

Knowledge of BOS processes (can be trained).

Experience with Workiva.

SAP and HFM experience preferred (for BSR & related reviews).

Skills & Capabilities

Excellent communication skills; comfortable leading cross-functional dialogues.

Customer service mindset with a “solutions first” approach.

Strong systematic and structured working style.

Ability to maintain trackers and documentation accurately.

High attention to detail and compliance mindset.

Education & Background

Finance, Accounting, or related degree.

Prior experience in operations finance or internal controls preferred.

Experience in multinational manufacturing environments is an advantage.

Base monthly salary starting from 4700 EUR gross. Our salary is fair and competitive and can be higher than the starting minimum in the advert
