Looking for Registered Nurse to work at correctional facilities::California
Shift Timings: Sat-Wed 10pm-6:30am(30)
Pay rate: $60/hr on W2
Job description:
We are currently seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide healthcare services in Correctional Facilities. Under the supervision of the facility CEO/CNE or their designee, you will deliver quality patient care within the scope of practice and ensure compliance with state regulations and facility protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
Valid California RN License – issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – must be from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Minimum Experience: At least 36 continuous months of RN experience in the last 5 years in a public or private healthcare institution (Internships not counted).
Valid Government-Issued Photo ID (Driver’s License – front and back)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic procedures as ordered by physicians.
Participate in multi-disciplinary teams and assist with minor medical procedures.
Conduct and document nursing assessments and ongoing patient evaluations.
Observe and intervene based on physical and psychological patient status.
Maintain accurate medical records, treatment logs, and progress notes.
Provide health education to patients/youth as needed.
Ensure a safe and secure healthcare environment within the facility.
