Compensation: 215K-230K+ OTE with uncapped commission, plus full benefits

One of clients has an outstanding opportunity for a Sales Engineer / Solutions Architect in the mountain region of the US, with experience supporting clients in the SLED market. They are a global leader the security industry (1B public company; OEM). They’ve developed security solutions to meet the needs of the most demanding Fortune 500 enterprise companies and government agencies (including SLED) – to help protect them against disruptions in availability, performance, and security. Their solutions provide real-time, pervasive visibility, detection and mitigation to address the challenges of a constantly changing threat landscape. They have a broad portfolio of solutions and are highly respected for their innovation. The Role:

What they are looking for is a sales engineer to work with SLED organizations in the region (e.g., state IT agencies, city and county agencies, large universities, large K-12 school districts, etc.). The ideal candidate will have experience in security and cybersecurity solutions, supporting clients in the SLED space, developing client relationships, and excels at developing security and cybersecurity solutions.

Qualifications:

Must have 5+ years experience as a sales engineer working with SLED organizations, and residing within a 1 hour drive to a major airport in CO, UT, or NV.

Must have 5+ years experience working for a manufacturer selling network security or cyber security solutions (e.g., Radware, ExtraHop, F5, Palo Alto, A10, FireEye, RSA, Fortinet, Splunk, Akamai, HP, Imperva, Proofpoint, NetScout, Zscaler, Cloudflare, CrowdStrike, Forescout, Tenable, Gigamon, Darktrace, ETC.)

Must have a stable employment history and a track record of developing winning solutions for clients.

Can travel up to 50% of the time in the mountain state region, when needed.
