Job Title: Wiring Technician (2nd Shift)Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Wiring Technician to join our manufacturing team in building high-quality chillers for data centers. This role involves assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels according to schematics, diagrams, and engineering specifications. The successful candidate will report on specific unit types, including performance testing, and will provide accurate test reports. You will interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions to assemble control panels ranging from 150 to 550 tons to determine all aspects of unit performance.Responsibilities
Perform point-to-point wiring and component installation, including circuit breakers, relays, power supplies, and PLCs.
Route and secure wiring neatly to ensure proper function and compliance with safety standards.
Conduct quality checks and functional testing of panels before final installation.
Troubleshoot and resolve wiring or component issues to ensure proper operation.
Contribute to risk assessments and health and safety investigations.
Assist Technical Support with site visits as periodically required.
Engage in quality investigations and structured problem-solving using tools and methodologies.
Perform pressure test, evacuation, and charging.
Conduct refrigeration performance testing.
Test electrical components and mechanical/electrical installations.
Design and build test rigs and assist with test plans.Essential Skills
1+ years of experience in panel wiring, electrical assembly, or a related field.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices for electrical work.
Knowledge of electrical codes, wiring standards, and safety procedures.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision and efficiency.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of pressure testing procedures, leak detection methods, and chiller systems is a plus.
Experience with PLC wiring and troubleshooting preferred, but not required.Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
